About Szu Wang

Szu Wang was born in Taiwan, grew up in the South Bay, and now lives in San Francisco. Szu received her B.S. in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and started her first career as an engineer in the biotech industry.

In 2019, Szu and her husband became expats and moved with their two kids to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They spent three wonderful years immersing themselves in the culture and community before making their next move to Taipei, Taiwan, where they enjoyed an additional three years of international living.

With her professional experience in scenario planning and lifelong passion for personal finance, it has been a natural transition into her current role with Modern Family Finance. Szu holds the Series 65 license and is a licensed Investment Adviser Representative.

In her spare time, Szu enjoys listening to podcasts and baking sweet treats.
